MEMORIAL | REMEMBRANCE | 2022-04-29

A message from the RSA's National President, BJ Clark.

It is with extreme sadness that I advise you all of the passing of Bob “Bukit” Hill, National Vice President of the RSA, and President of the Masterton RSA.

Bukit has been an outstanding member of the RSA, first joining in 1972, he served on the executive committee at the Masterton RSA for 18 years, and has held the position of National Vice President since 2011.

Bukit’s commitment to the welfare of veterans was considerable. In addition to his roles within the RSA, he also served as a Trustee for the Vietnam Veterans’ and Families trust for seven years.

His service to veterans was recognized by the award of the RSA’s Gold Star and Bar earlier this month, and a certificate of achievement in the Senior New Zealander of the Year awards in 2018.

Our thoughts are with Bukit’s wife Catherine and family.
