The Mount Maunganui RSA is proud to host the 2026 RNZRSA National Snooker Pairs Competition
VENUE: Mount Maunganui RSA
ELIGIBILITY: Players participating must be financial members of any RSA throughout New Zealand.
PROGRAMME: Tournament starts at 8.30am on Saturday 30th May 2026. Teams play 5 single frames of snooker in qualifying round – qualifying is on frames won, frames lost and differential scoring, third by re-spotted black to decide order.
Post Section play resumes 8.00am on Sunday 31st May 2026 with qualifying players participating for the Championship, the first-round losers will qualify for the Championship Flight event.
Non qualifying players participate in the Plate event, first-round losers of the plate event will compete for the Consolation event.
Depending on numbers all frames in post qualifying rounds will be best of 3 frames, with final best of 5 frames if time permits.
Tournament closure is dependent upon number of entries but usually around 6.30pm on the Sunday evening.
