We are pleased to announce the final winner in the Service Category of the RNZRSA Volunteer of the Year Awards for 2023.
Eddy Sutherland is the President of the Hobsonville RSA and has worked tirelessly and relentlessly to ensure the future of the Hobsonville RSA for its veterans, members and guests. Underneath a reportedly tough exterior, is a kind and caring man who dedicates hours of work each week to ensure those he is responsible for are safe and provided for.
He is devoted to ensuring the veterans and service members are cared for, both through having a vibrant RSA to meet at, while ensuring all those who are in need of support are able to access it.
Eddy is a true leader, prepared to face up to tough challenges and make hard decisions, and working endlessly to bring the Executive and members together to ensure the future of the Hobsonville RSA.
