An overview of the various peacekeeping operations that Australian Defence Forces have been involved in from Japan in 1946 to East Timor in 1999. Each chapter covers the background to the situation, the Australian involvement, and some commentary on the actual operations within each theatre.
A good standard reference on the Australian contribution to worldwide peacekeeping, which would lead the interested reader to more defined works covering the respective deployments.
