The RNZRSA is calling for nominations for the RNZRSA Board
At the RNZRSA National Council in October 2014, the membership voted to make substantial changes to the governance structure of the organisation and part of these changes is the introduction of the RNZRSA Board.
The RNZRSA Board has the primary responsibility for guiding and monitoring the operations and affairs of the RZNRSA, including compliance with governance objectives. The Board is responsible to the National Council for the efficient and effective performance of the RNZRSA and the right mix of people is critical to the successful governance of the organisation.
The RNZRSA is now seeking applications for members of the RNZRSA Board. It is intended that the membership of the Board be formalised in April 2015 for adoption as soon as the rules allow.
Applications are sought from candidates with governance and business oversight experience who wish to make a positive contribution to the future of the RSA movement. This is a voluntary appointment for an initial term of between one and three years.
For more details on the RNZRSA Board and how to apply, download the application form here. Applications must be received by 5:00pm, 20 January 2015 and candidates should be available for interviews in Wellington in the first three weeks of February 2015.
